I have been waiting patiently to get my lens focused on this beautiful little darling, her big sister and family! I love all the sassy hands on hips! What a knockout that momma is only 1 month post-birth! Thank you Deedee, Jeff, Sylvia, Sabrina and Alexandra for a fun morning! I have many favorites from this morning! It was hard to stop editing/posting.

Susanna and Jeff: the day they became Mr. and Mrs.

What fun Kristin and I had capturing the special moments of Susanna and Jeff's day! This beautiful, fun and loving bride made everyone smile. The ceremony was held at St. John the Baptist Catholic church in Ypsilanti. After the beautiful mass, we headed over to West Park where Susanna had a perfect, rustic trellis in mind for her photos. Here are just a few teaser pics to take a look at before she heads to her new married life in Australia. More to come soon...

Twins and a 3yr old!

I walk in to this family's house as the kids are finishing dinner. I smile and say hi to Lena Grace, she smiles back. I walk over to say hi to Haynes, he takes one look at me and screams bloody murder! Oh boy! Not a great start... I back away and say "let's start with big brother". Thankfully, big brother, Malachi is 3 and all smiles and silly faces! What a complete joy to photograph-as long as I'm fast :). Mom, Julie let me know that Haynes had been especially grumpy that day-whew! Glad it wasn't me! We had a little bit of a rough start, but little Haynes was smiley after a little dinner. I love that he still has the soft, wispy peach fuzz he had at his 3month shoot! Lena Grace was slow and shy with the smiles, but we didn't have as much crying! How absolutely adorable is she in her cute little dress? I am thrilled to have the opportunity to photograph these adorable children!

Paris 2011

I have always wanted to go to Paris! Seeing the Eiffel tower all lit up at night has been on my top ten things to see...it did not disappoint! The famous glass triangle entrance to The Louvre was equally gorgeous! Just look at that beautiful sky! I was so mesmerized by the beauty of Notre Dame Cathedral. I was thrilled to find that little red door on the side...I am so blessed to get to travel to so many beautiful places!

LONDON

My husband and I got to spend a few days in London at the end of March. There were so many interesting things to see and do. It was hard, but I have selected a few black and white favorites!

Snow Day!

The beginning of February brought a lot of snow to Michigan! One cold, Wednesday afternoon, Ryan stayed home and played in the 10 inches of snow with our little boy, Braylen. Braylen was thrilled to use his new sled and fought coming inside for a nap. Although his little hands were bright red and freezing, he wanted to stay "more out". I hope these pictures make you smile as you see the joy in his beautiful, brown eyes!
